 In this video we can see that the fluid dynamics have a stronger visualization. 

I have increase the resolution but also touch up a few things inside the fluid parameters. For instance I add more color swatches for the incandescence as well as the smoke color. I have also written some expressions to give the fire a small twist in its X and Y origin. A few touch up can really make or break your effect you’re trying to recreate.

Down town LA has some crazy sneaker shops. I took a quick shot of some graffiti right next to the shoe store Shiekh Shoes. I'm not sure who did the graffiti art but I thought it would look unique under some Photoshop filters

Red Rocks, State Park CA

Went on a little hike and saw some awesome views!


Took my camera out and got a couple of cool shots.

Red Rocks

The Yucca Cactus are from the regions of California and they have this pleasant feel to them. They have a burst of green thorns that I though look interesting against the red rocks.

Joshua Tree 

Defiantly recommend anyone that is in LA to check out the Red Rocks.

Gas Fire

I'm trying to resembling a little gas fire simulation here:

This reference shows the thick black smoke that I would like to capture in my simulation.

I just have a rough block out in Maya 2015 using fluids. But Its coming out kinda nice, so I thought I should post a small progression shot.

The final video will be posted on my social media.

I'm hopping to up-rez the container size and show off a render, as of now its the base resolution is 150.

 Sequoia National Park

Just under 275-ft. tall, this landmark in Sequoia National Park is among the world’s largest trees.

German Sherman Tree

I made the trip in middle of January and got some breath taking photo. Wet snow and the California fog rising through the hills, has been a pleasant world monument to see.

Simple water fall

I will be uploading more as I get through all the photo I took during the journey. Hopefully I can get a nice collection on my blog page and look back to the wonder Sequoia National Park.
