Rough Photoshop Vision 1

A rough start of our Maya vision.
Here we will work out the camera angle and camera animation.
Things we need to keep a note on:
- Keep camera animation to a short.
- Have a wide angle view to see the surrounding area.
- A good face shot on the character fishing in their ice hole.

Found this perfect trail that's leads up to a reservoir covering the whole town of Santa Clarita, CA. The trail was all dirt roads and may different people brought there off terrain vehicle.

I got the chance to capture about 100 photos and would like to start creating a library and selling them for pennies..  

I have started doing it with Redbubble, but I would like to get to the level of a stock image.

Shutter Stock is another perfect place to start selling photo's too!

C4D Eyeball

C4D Eyeball


Jumping back in Cinema 4D and creating an interesting model. The eyeball consist of 2 spheres that have multiple layer textures to create the realistic look.

I added a couple of images below to show my direction I would like to take the project.

My favorite part on this project was learning how to create the veins for the eye. It was a simple texture adjustment.

Eyeball Vines Material:

Create a new -Shader and under -Surface, you will see -Water. 

Then turn off the animated -Water by zeroing out the -T Frequency and -Wind

Then used a -Gradient shader and set the -Black color to a -Red 

Finally set the blend mode to -Multiply

I would like to model out this part of the eye. Really add some characteristics to the eye, plus is seems really disgusting. Possible take the whole model into Real flow and add a blood splatter to it.

Improved Website

I spent the last day or two improving my website on Squarespace. I added more description for my newest video and commercials that I work on. I made the website more user friendly as well as model friendly.

I try to keep it clean with a white and black theme. I cant wait to add more content with the internships and freelance jobs I have been getting.

This was a small tutorial that I did. It was really fun as I got to learn C4D and AE.
I used a small triangle shape to make the petals of the flower in C4D and then used the clone tool to duplicated it and it seems like a full flower.

In After Effects I added color as well as smoothed up the motion. AE really help to bring the project to life as well as add the final touch such as the title and shadow. 

This project was really fun and I want to continue on with motion graphics.

I learnt a little bit of everything with this short project. From modeling to light and texturing. Even with a small touch up of composting in Photoshop.

 I am trying to improve my knowledge for other motion graphic programs. I thought that Cinema 4D is a very powerful program and has a lot of interesting Technic used in the computer graphic industry.


For I am just getting use to it and would like to finish a realistic sports drink.

Still a work in progress but slowly will be getting there.

Still work in progress. I am going to fix up the hands. give the tong some detail and improve all the edge with a bevel. Plus I still need to add some hair.


After this is all done I would like to do a simple light set up with some texture.

Then I want to kick it off with a rich detail in the VFX and have a crazy rainbow from palm to palm.

I recent took an internship at Baked FX. Its only for 3 month but its has been fantastic so far. I have been learning so much in a short amount of time, I just lost track of keeping up with my blog.

I have been using all these different type of 3D programs to get the job done, I feel almost unstoppable and want to keep absorbing all these critical information.

- Shotgun

I am still learning and adapting but I will post an update on my latest personal work!

Concept for the Casino

Concept for the Casino

as an Art Designer at Tipping Point Gaming Co. my ideas and design effort are establish here. I've chosen 3 concept layout of a protein game that could be used in casino's. I try capturing the idea of animation shown in a still image. I have also add a small 3D animation clip at the bottom of the blog. This is an opportunity for my work to be seen by my fans and by players of casino games across the globe.


Concept Ideas:

Fore Version 1, I felt like the game, 'Bonus Choice' had a similar feel to the TV show 'Deal or No Deal' as well as 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.' I attempted to merge these two shows together but at the same time keep the game theme.

 Concept Idea:

For Version 2, I thought it would be interesting to show off possible holiday themes or seasons. I took a screen shot and then start to add images together in Photoshop. The screen shot is at the point of choosing which game to play, as seen on the right; Mega Mega, Mega Card, Free Play, Bonus Choice.

For Version 3, I want to celebrate St. Patrick day !
I add a leprechaun sitting on a pot of gold and a colorful rainbow. While the background is covered in falling gold coins and an appealing women sitting on the digit pads.

These are just concept idea and nothing is final. I would like to show off the animation in the images but under time concentrates here this is what I could pull off:

A study on Maya Dynamics. Using a simple 8x8 plane as a emitter and then modeled a drain to collide with the fluid. Resolution 150. Work In Progress.

 In this video we can see that the fluid dynamics have a stronger visualization. 

I have increase the resolution but also touch up a few things inside the fluid parameters. For instance I add more color swatches for the incandescence as well as the smoke color. I have also written some expressions to give the fire a small twist in its X and Y origin. A few touch up can really make or break your effect you’re trying to recreate.

The Yucca Cactus are from the regions of California and they have this pleasant feel to them. They have a burst of green thorns that I though look interesting against the red rocks.

I'm trying to resembling a little gas fire simulation here:

This reference shows the thick black smoke that I would like to capture in my simulation.

I just have a rough block out in Maya 2015 using fluids. But Its coming out kinda nice, so I thought I should post a small progression shot.

The final video will be posted on my social media.

I'm hopping to up-rez the container size and show off a render, as of now its the base resolution is 150.

Sequoia National Park

Just under 275-ft. tall, this landmark in Sequoia National Park is among the world’s largest trees.

German Sherman Tree

I made the trip in middle of January and got some breath taking photo. Wet snow and the California fog rising through the hills, has been a pleasant world monument to see.
