New Idea!

New Idea

Making a cartoon!


After a lot of time thinking... I wanted to start creating funny cartoon for FUN !

Improve my skills and keep a log of the cartoon. Post them on YouTube and see how many people will watch.

If they catch then I will keep going.. But for now. Its all for fun.

I have another idea for a cartoon short. I was thinking about doing a cartoon of fruit and have the POV as the fruit.

I still need to flesh out my idea... But hopefully we can get a screen shot of a WIP.

Rough Photoshop Vision 1

A rough start of our Maya vision.
Here we will work out the camera angle and camera animation.
Things we need to keep a note on:
- Keep camera animation to a short.
- Have a wide angle view to see the surrounding area.
- A good face shot on the character fishing in their ice hole.

Found this perfect trail that's leads up to a reservoir covering the whole town of Santa Clarita, CA. The trail was all dirt roads and may different people brought there off terrain vehicle.

I got the chance to capture about 100 photos and would like to start creating a library and selling them for pennies..  

I have started doing it with Redbubble, but I would like to get to the level of a stock image.

Shutter Stock is another perfect place to start selling photo's too!

C4D Eyeball

C4D Eyeball


Jumping back in Cinema 4D and creating an interesting model. The eyeball consist of 2 spheres that have multiple layer textures to create the realistic look.

I added a couple of images below to show my direction I would like to take the project.

My favorite part on this project was learning how to create the veins for the eye. It was a simple texture adjustment.

Eyeball Vines Material:

Create a new -Shader and under -Surface, you will see -Water. 

Then turn off the animated -Water by zeroing out the -T Frequency and -Wind

Then used a -Gradient shader and set the -Black color to a -Red 

Finally set the blend mode to -Multiply

I would like to model out this part of the eye. Really add some characteristics to the eye, plus is seems really disgusting. Possible take the whole model into Real flow and add a blood splatter to it.

Improved Website

I spent the last day or two improving my website on Squarespace. I added more description for my newest video and commercials that I work on. I made the website more user friendly as well as model friendly.

I try to keep it clean with a white and black theme. I cant wait to add more content with the internships and freelance jobs I have been getting.

This was a small tutorial that I did. It was really fun as I got to learn C4D and AE.
I used a small triangle shape to make the petals of the flower in C4D and then used the clone tool to duplicated it and it seems like a full flower.

In After Effects I added color as well as smoothed up the motion. AE really help to bring the project to life as well as add the final touch such as the title and shadow. 

This project was really fun and I want to continue on with motion graphics.

I learnt a little bit of everything with this short project. From modeling to light and texturing. Even with a small touch up of composting in Photoshop.

 I am trying to improve my knowledge for other motion graphic programs. I thought that Cinema 4D is a very powerful program and has a lot of interesting Technic used in the computer graphic industry.


For I am just getting use to it and would like to finish a realistic sports drink.

Still a work in progress but slowly will be getting there.

Still work in progress. I am going to fix up the hands. give the tong some detail and improve all the edge with a bevel. Plus I still need to add some hair.


After this is all done I would like to do a simple light set up with some texture.

Then I want to kick it off with a rich detail in the VFX and have a crazy rainbow from palm to palm.
